Alomst Time!

We find out what we are having on Tuesday!!! I am SO excited I can't even stand it. I have been curious about this since the day I found out I was pregnant. Well actually even before that. Whenever I day dream what my future would be like, I would always wonder what my kids will be like. Nate really thinks it's a girl...and I have been back and forth the whole time for what I think. I felt the baby move for the first time today! It was the coolest thing ever. I think about how blessed I am to become a mother and it makes me bawl. The best part of it all is that my kids will have the best dad ever. I am so proud of Nate. He works so hard to do well in school and to help support me in all I do. He has been assisting in labor and delivery. He cut an umbilical chord today, and has been a breathing coach. I am so glad that he will be all practiced up since I don't know what the heck I am doing! Nate just found out yesterday that all of his Professors and Clinical Instructors nominated him to receive the Florence Nightingale award. They give it to one nurse in all the graduating class. He was so humble about it and amazed that he was given this honor. I wasn't though! He does such a great job in the hospital with those patients, he is caring, patient, and understanding. I always try to talk him into being late for class to sleep in with me, or to ditch out early for things, but Nate is so dedicated. I need to be more like him because I would rather be an hour late to something than even 10 minutes early! So anyway, Nate has to read a little story at their graduation, and gets to lead the class when they walk in. I like to tease him and call him my Little Nightingale (he doesn't love the girly name!)...but in all seriousness I couldn't be more proud of him. I am so lucky he is my husband.
Nate chillin' in his scrubs...
They had a fashion show at school to "Model" what you should wear to an interview. Nate had to go to Dillards to be fitted for the big show. I made one of his buddies take pictures so I could see him...I think that was embarrassing for him...Oh the things you do to make your wife happy :)!

My Parents visit in AZ...Go Dodgers!

One of my dreams has always been to go to Baseball Spring Training games. The Dodgers used to train in Florida and now they have a stadium in AZ! I have been looking forward to this for a year. I couldn't believe how fun it was. We got to sit really close during all of the games. We liked the intimate atmosphere of the smaller stadium. I am used to all the players looking like aunts. A couple games we sat right behind home plate! I got Andrea Either's autograph and Nate caught a fly ball. We all felt like we were going to turn into a hot dog by the end of the week from eating so many!

My dad was like a little kid on Christmas!

This game was on St. Patricks day, Nate represented and wore green for us,

'Red' the dad on "That 70's Show" was at a bunch of games. Every time he walked by I would wave and say hi, but I was sad that I never got a pic with him. Finally, the last day I was waiting for the fam to hit up the restroom and I realized I was standing right next to him! I tossed Nate the camera to take a pic for me(Nate could care less about famous people and autographs..but I live for them!)

We had such a GREAT time with my family. Other than the 4 Spring Training Dodger games we went too...we were still able to squeeze in some time for other fun activities. We took them fishing and it was so nice to have my dad there to carry the boat instead of me :). We took them to this Old Mining Ghost Town. It was fun to look at all of the antique stuff...plus they had the most amazing ice cream ever! Take notice of my bulging belly in the pics!

We had a little picnic before the fishing...
Thanks for coming Mom and Dad! We miss you guys already. It was fun playing dart tournaments, watching March Madness games, staying up late and playing Yahtzee with you guys too!

Mark's Wedding in Utah

Mark and Natalie's Wedding was a blast. It was so much fun seeing family and friends. I am so happy for them. They will have a great life together, and we are so happy to have Nat in the family. Dylan was the hit in his cute suit with his pink tie!

We were freezing at the Temple, it wasn't quite the weather we are used too!

The Moore Family...

I flew up to Utah a few days before Nate (he had to be at the hospital for school) to help my mom get set up for the Wedding Dinner. It was so nice to play with Dylan and hang out with Jeff and Brandi. Sure enough, as soon as Nate gets in town Dylan was Nate's best friend instead of mine!

Spring Fishing Trip!

Nate and I went to Roosevelt Lake last Saturday. We had to get up at 3 in the morning because my husband always has to be the first one out to the lake! I figured I owed it to him because I have been a piece of work the past week. My hormones have been suprisingly normal the first part of my pregnancy, and unfortunatly I couldn't consider them quite "normal" last week! Between report cards, parent teacher conferences, and not fitting into ANY clothes...I had a few episodes trying to get ready for school in the morning. Unless people consider throwing shoes across the room at your husband because he told you your navy blue shoes where black is normal...then I was a little crazy! It all started when I was trying on a new pair of maternity pants that were so hedious that it looked like I was wearing a diaper, so I guess that put me in a sour mood. Oh the joys! So I do need to thank Nate for being the most patient hubbster in the whole world. I don't know how I got so lucky to deserve him. He always looks for ways to make me feel better and to love me. Luckily during our fishing weekend I didn't have any crazy episodes, and we had a GREAT time together!
I love how happy Nate gets when he cathes a good fish! He's like a giddy, little kid on Christmas day! Nate caught 13 fish that day and they were ALL good size!
This is how I spent the first hour out on the lake...the sun isn't shinning at 5 in the morning! Nate was catching enough fish for the both of us :)

Meet our fish Cheeto! I got to name him. He was 5 and a half pounds, his biggest catch of the day. Nate forgets to eat or drink when we are fishing because he is afraid he will miss out on catching a fish. I finally was able to convince him to eat a string cheese (I wanted to him to hurry and eat something before I ate it all and there was nothing left, I have no problem eating while we fish!) He left is bait in the water while he tried to open his cheese stick and he suddenly got a bite...he set the hook and the fish got off and he was SO bumbed. Nate decided to go back to the cheese stick and right away AGAIN he got another bite. This time he was able to set the hook and he caught HUGE Cheeto! He fought like crazy, it was so fun to see him catch it. We were going to take Cheeto home to grill, so we put him in a bag with water in it and tied it to the outside of the boat. Cheeto swam along next to us the rest of the day and he kinda felt like he was our pet! By the end of the day I couldn't bare to keep it...you can't eat something after you name it! So we let Cheeto go...maybe he'll get bigger and we can catch him next year!

I read my book the whole time and didn't catch even ONE fish. I'll cast like 3 times, and if I don't catch something right away then I get sick of it. I would rather relax and read. But I do have an important job...I am the net girl!
Our friends joke that Nate's hobby has aged him 30 years because there is normally a bunch of old retired guys out on the lake. Nate can just make friends with all the old men and share fishing tips together. I love it!
