Gubba

I love my little Kader Bug soooo stinkin much! He has been quite the stinker lately. He learned how to throw tantrums. He will squeeze his fist together tight and grunt as loud as he can. It makes me laugh somedays and makes me want to pull my hair out other days :) Because he can stand now, he pulls himself up to everything possible and wants to knock everything over. I have tons of baby toys from all my yard selling and he wants nothing to do with them. But he does want everything to do with what is in the closets and pantry! I love this little explorer.

Mama loves you so much buddie! Don't know what we would do without you!

Part 1

San Diego Trip!!! So beautiful! Nate's lil bro Adam just transfered to Camp Pendalton in San Diego for the Navy. So the Sager fam decided to drop him off and have a little vacation. We rented a beach house that was RIGHT on the beach. No other buildings were behind us...just beach! The weather felt pretty cool for all of us AZ folk but it was so nice to get to spend a whole week with Nate and do some fun things with Adam, Heidi, and Grandpa and Nana. The Condo also had a pool and hot tub. We had a great time. There are a ton of collages cause I took a billion pics and these are just a few that I wanted to blog. I couldn't figure out how to put all the collages on one post, so it's 3 different parts sorry!
A pic of The city. We went to Sea Port Villiage and Coranado to some cool shops.

It was my Bday when we were up there. I woke up to ballons all over the condo and a nice breakfast. The Condo was nice cause we all had our own rooms. Littel Kader isn't a fan of the pack-n-play so we didn't get much sleep on this trip.

I LOVED watching my little guy play on the beach. He was so much fun to play with and couldn't get enough of it!

We went to cheescake facorty for my Bday dinner. I love the pic of Kade giving Grandpa Sager a hug. He loves his Grandpas and Grandmas..probablly because they sneak him the yummy stuff! :)

part 2..

These were at the Midway Navy ship. It was cool to take the tour and learn more about this piece of history. I guess this battle ship was used in World War II.

The boogie boardin boys...Kade wished he could join them.

So maybe Kade has a Hitler stash!

part 3..

I am not a huge Zoo person because I have never liked animals. I am sure it will get more fun when my kids like them. Kade loves animals so far, but he didn't like just looking at them cause he had no idea what they were...the petting Zoo was a whole nother story! HE LOVED THE GOATS! This was the highlight of the whole Zoo day for me. He laughed so hard the whole time. And his mom didn't see the sign that said don't ride the goats...oppsy! :) Check out spike the top left corner...he was Kade's fav because the both have a little spike.

The last night we were there I met a really cool bum on the beach. He was telling me how at this time every year this little fish come up to the shore by the thousands to lay their eggs. The come up with the tide and burrow done to lay the eggs. At first I thought this guy was pulling my leg, but he said to come outside at 11pm to check it out. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen! These fish were just flopping around everywhere on the sand. There were tons of people outside grabbing them with buckets to fry them up...I would have to pass on eating them, but they were sure fun to kick! I brought the friendly homeless man a huge plate of dinner to thank him for telling us about this cool fish thing.

Get me out of here!

"Mom, stop taking pictures of me and get me out of this crib!" This little boy is always standing to greet me after his naps. It was so funny when I first went in there to see him standing. I am afraid I will go in one day and he will have jumped out to get to his toys.

Go Figure...

Well, we went fishing over the weekend which isn't a big surprise. This was definitely our best trip yet because we went in the early evening and Kade is learning that he is bound to love to fish weather he likes it or not :). We had so much fun on this trip! Although Kade wasn't too happy at not being aloud to crawl around the boat, but I don't think any little boys really like to just sit still on mamas lap.
Yummy! Nate caught the smallest large mouth bass that we have EVER seen. It was so cute and Kade LOVED it. He wanted it to be his pet and the pour fish probably went blind from Kade sticking his little fingers in it's eyes. Kade, where did you learn that it's okay to eat fish before you cook them???!!
Even though we fish a lot I had to post this trip because I haven't fished in a long time on our trips. I usually just read, lay out, and entertain my little man. This time I actually casted my line for a bit. I was so excited to catch a bass. I forgot that I kinda like to fish! Nobody tell Nate though cause I don't want him to think that we need to go more than once a week.
I look like a total dork holding it. They make me nervous..
Nate totally out fished me and caught a ton this trip...
Say cheese! I LOVE YOU KADE!!!!!!!

Howdy

How am I so lucky to be this little man's mother. He is the cutest little nugget ever and I just love him SOOO much.

Nate's friend from West Jordan came to visit last weekend. Kipp and his girlfriend joined us on some fishing adventures. Nate and Kipp are like two peas in a pod. They are both obsessed with fishing. It was GREAT having someone entertain my husband while I sat and laid out on the shore and played with Kade. Kipp and Nate have the same since of humor and oddly enough they both have this fascination with gold panning. Yes, REALLY weird... I know! We went to the Haunted Gold Town for a day. I tease Nate about it cause he has a pick and a gold pan. He wants to get a medal detector and I think it's the weirdest thing he could ever want. I am glad that Kipp can go pan for gold with him because there is no way I am doing that :) I wouldn't mind him coming home with some though!
It's hard to tell which one is Nate and which one is Kipp...

His smile just melts my heart. I was laying in bed the other night and I had to wake up Nate to tell him something I came to realize. I am a SMOTHER-er. And I am sure it is only going to get worse. I smother this little guy cause I don't want to miss one thing he does. I watch every little thing he does and think it's the greatest ever. Poor kid can't even play in his room with his toys without me trying to do every little thing with him. Sorry Kade, I'll try to back off when you are a teenager but I am not promising anything!
