Good news/Bad news...

Well, I had a Dr. Apt. yesterday for ANOTHER ultra sound. I am on the "watch list" and have to get ultra sounds every 4 weeks...well after yesterday now I am on the "every week list". The good news is that Kade is no longer in the 95 percentile for everything...now he is between the 60's and 80's (well expect for his head that is now 91) The bad news is apparently I have WAY to much amniotic fluid. Basically he is swimming in a large pool...hey if you ask me I'd rather be swimming around then all cramped up, right? Next week if my levels don't go down I'll have to start seeing a specialist in Phoenix. Polyhydramnios (the name of the problem) could be signs of problems with the baby, or problems for the mother. I am hoping that it doesn't effect Kade in any way whatsoever and hopefully my levels just go down with time. My stomach is apparently measuring about 4 weeks further than I really am....hence the reason every asks when my twins are due. I did the worst thing by looking up online about this because it tells you every little thing that could go wrong. I am just going to try to stay positive and pray it's not a huge issue.

Next good news is that we are looking to buy a house! It has been so much fun and we feel so blessed that Nate got a great job at the hospital so that we can get into something. Although the housing market has been a nightmare for so many people in AZ....we are very lucky. Being a 1st time home buyer we qualify for the $8,000 tax credit. The houses are so beautiful and the prices have never been lower. The only bad news is that we finally found a house that we both just LOVED. It had only been on the market 1 day and we over bid on it. We thought we had a good chance of getting it...by the end of the day there were already 17 bids on the house, and 4 full cash offers. We will be lucky to scrape up a down payment...let alone purchase a house with cash! It is nice for the economy that there are crazy bidding wars going on, but we will be so darn lucky to get something...or will have to just settle with something that may not be our first pick. Our friends down here have way over bid on the asking price on 6 different houses and haven't gotten any of them. We bid on 2 more houses last night so maybe we'll get lucky on one!

I don't ever write in my journal anymore.... so I wanted to use this post to just get my thoughts down and vent a little. We have much to be grateful for...I am blessed to have such wonderful family and friends...Love you all :)

Easter & Other Pics from this month!

Nate felt little Kade kick for the first time today! He was so excited and has been trying to feel him for a long time. We think Kade likes to do jumping jacks because he is CONSTANTLY movin and groovin!

After posting this pic I realized Nate was making a nerdy face. Him and his dad kept being goobers during pics, I can't believe his dad actually had a normal smile in this one!

Okay NO there is not twins in there! I get asked that almost daily! This pic was taken almost 2 weeks ago too! I swear some people look like this when they are about ready to give birth...I can't imagine how I'll look in August. Bring it on!

I know I just barley posted all those Dodger pictures from spring training...but this was just last Saturday night. I almost spaced that LA was in town! About an hour before game time we realized they were in town and we through our shirts and hats on as fast as we could and rushed downtown. Nose bleeds and all...it was SO MUCH FUN! LA won 11 to 1! We can't get enough of the Dodgers!!!!

We went with our friends Dani and Jordan to the Utah Jazz vs. Phoenix Suns game a few weeks ago. We had half court seats 14th row. We all loved every second of it! My two favorite teams! The Jazz ended up winning at a buzzer beater, the score was close the whole game!

We threw Dani a Bachlorette Party a few weeks ago. It was great to see all the old college girlfriends! A bunch of my old roommates and soccer teammates flew in for a girls weekend. The Party was really fun and crazy! I am so mad that I forgot to bring my camera to the Bachelorette Party. This was the day after...everyone who was still in town went to the Angles Spring Training Baseball game...we tailgated before the game with a bunch of other friends and had a blast! Nothing like hot dogs & a ballgame.

IT"S A BOY!

We finally know! I was SO nervous going into my apt. the anticipation was killing me. Nate really thought we were having a girl...and I was dying to have a girl (I am a sucker for those huge bows) But I truly didn't feel like it was. Nate and I have both loved the name Zoey for a while, and that is what we are planning on naming our girl. I kept telling my mom "I just don't think it's Zoey yet...maybe it's a girl, and I just shouldn't name her Zoey because for some reason I don't think it's her".... well, I didn't listen to my intuition much because I bought a bunch of cute little girl stuff! When we found out it was a boy, I wasn't disappointed right away. I was mostly so glad that everything looks healthy so far. I was shocked to see that he is in the 97th percentile on weight, size, head, and all his measurements! They will either move my due date up, or I might be having a tank! YIKES. When Nate and I lay in bed at night I started to get a little sad about not having a girl. The next day at school I was browsing online at boy "stuff" and I began to get more and more excited. It's been a few days since then and now I can honestly say that I can't be more happier that it is a boy! I can't explain the love that has grown inside of me for this little (I mean "big") guy. I am tearing up right now while I am journaling this. We have already decided on a name, Kade Nathan Sager. I love him so much and can't wait for him to join our family. Nate and I get SO happy thinking about playing with him on a little tyke basketball hoop, playing at the park, teaching him to catch and throw, kick a soccer ball, his first fish he catches, and reading him silly stories. We are already looking for his first pair of cleats! I had a great time surprising my class at school when I told them what I was having. They all just KNEW it was going to be a boy. There reason was because I like sports :)....My ultrasound was after school on the 31st leaving the next day to be April Fools Day. I told my class when they were lining up to come in that the ultrasound machine was broken and we can't find out till next week. They about died because they were just as pumped as me to find out. I had already decorated the classroom with blue crepe paper and had a big banner up. They were so glad when they came inside to see it. It made for a really fun day.
Kade was so proud to show us that he is a boy. Not bashful at all.... that's my boy!
