4 Months!

Holy cow...has it really already been 4 months?! Who knew that your hole life could change in 4 months :) I am not gonna get into my rants and raves about the lack of sleep I have had (and am still having) but although that has been such a trial for me, I have also experinced more joy than I ever knew was possible.

We have started rice cereal and we were cracking up at Kade's attempt to eat it. We made a huge mess and I love every second of it! We got his 4 month shots today. The doctor is putting him on medication for his acid reflux. She thinks that will help him with sleep. He wakes up screaming from naps because he has to throw up so we are hoping this helps. These are his 4 month stats:

-Weight= 14 lbs 8 oz. puts him at the 46% tile

-Length=25 in. puts him at the 58% tile

-Head circumference unfortunatly keeps a steady increase at 17 in and the 88% tile. He has to be bigger to fit all his brains! :) It'll be better when he gets some hair. It may not be anytime soon since both Nate and I were cueballs untill about two years old!

Testing out our Chirstmas present. Kade loved the bike trailer! He was too small for it but we made it work. The straps were suppossed to go on his sholders but they were up by his ears like earmuffs!

My mom flew down for a few days while she was off track and we had a blast! For some reason I didn't take really any pics :(. We went to see santa at Bass Pro Shop and they had an amazing village. Of course she brough a sack of clothes and toys down for Kade. She loves to spoil this little man. She found these funny jammies cause he likes to be naughty at night. She was so great to help out with the night feeds and let me take a few naps. Also, my mom took me to the material store and let me pick out some fabrics for a quilt. She has made Kade tons of blankets and quilts but I decided I would dig deep and try to learn how to do it. We actually had a lot of fun. It's not quite finished yet so I'll post a pic of the finished product. She was patient with my nasty, crocked seems! I am not a seemstress....well not yet!

Can't get enough of his silly laugh. Yes, I know all I blog about these days is my son. But I guess that is my only life these days!

The 3 little nuggets! How lucky am I to have the Ivins and Lemiux's in my life. We all have kids right around the same age. It's great to have girlfriends to share these experiences with. I got to babysit Aspen one day...and me oh my I don't know how people do it with more than one. The best thing about these friends is that they don't give up on my flakiness. I have turned into the WORST friend lately. I stink at remembering to call people back! I never have my cell phone on me...and on top of that my cell service at our new house doesn't work well at all. So thank you to those of you who don't get offended when I forget to call back...thank you to those of you who know me engough to just keep calling when I am a pain in your butt to get a hold of. And I promise to upgrade my cell phone one day and keep it around more when I start sleeping.

After card night. I acutally got dressed up for once and we took the picture after I put my pj's on.. great, now I have no proof!
